Mug Off competition entry from Keri Dias from Auckland.
Wheel-thrown in black clay, this mug features a hand-painted underglaze scene coated in a clear glaze. Inspired by classic space imagery, rockets, UFOs, astronauts, planets and stars wrap around the piece, creating a scene that unfolds as the mug is turned.
