Stoked NZ was founded by Debs after she fell off her mountain bike and ended up with a brain injury. It wasn't great. She spent months in a dark room, no screens, no adventures, no fun (She couldn't even cross a road by herself)...
Alllll she wanted more than anything was to ride her bike, have daily lake swims,
hike and the occasional surf. But it was years before she could do any of these
things again.
Prior to brain injury Debs had a towelie - but it was micro fibre and she hated it!
It didn't dry her, it was bulky and everything stuck to it. Long story short - her
brain injury showed her just how quickly life can change. Deb's new moto became
LIFE IS SHORT, DO COOL SHIT! So, she quit her job and started making towelies.
Since 2017, they've helped 90,000 kiwis get changed, dry, cozy, anytime, anywhere inside one of our towelies.

Turkish Cotton is world renowned as a super fibre. It's notably softer, more
absorbent and lighter weight than other fabrics.
Turkish Cotton:
Is super absorbent & quick drying, meaning you can use it for multiple swims in
a row and it will still dry you. It will dry 2-3 times faster than a traditional
towel.
66% more absorbent than microfibre.
Becomes softer and more comfortable with each wash.
With extra long fibres, the cotton can be spun into a thinner weight. Meaning
Turkish cotton is less bulky than traditional towels, while not sacrificing on
absorbency.
