Kelly O’Leary - Mahana

Born in Nelson, now living in Mahana.

Kelly’s Kete was created in 2013 when Kelly was at home with her new born son.
All pieces are designed by Kelly, and are NZ made.

A Primary School Kaiakō of 26 years in this region, Kelly dedicated most of that time to Māori Medium / Bilingual Education. She is now the Lead Educator at Nelson Provincial Museum. 

Kelly’s designs are inspired by her passion for NZ flora and fauna and promoting a love of te reo Māori.
