Collection: Pippa Mills - Banks Peninsula

As an early career jeweller Pippa’s work is still evolving, but she is principally focussed on sustainability and connection to place. She crafts contemporary pieces using recycled silver and locally sourced stones, celebrating the natural beauty and character of her surroundings. By combining traditional techniques with modern design, she aims to create jewellery that feels timeless yet is distinctive.

Each piece reflects a respect for the materials she works with and the environment they come from. The use of recycled silver illustrates her commitment to sustainable practices, while the incorporation of locally sourced stones adds a sense of story and place, grounding her work in the landscapes that inspire her.

Pippa is working from her home studio in Te Wharau/Charteris Bay. With a background as an orchestral musician, Pippa brings a deep appreciation for rhythm, structure, and movement to her jewellery practice.

Working primarily with precious metals and natural elements, Pippa’s pieces are inspired by the coastal landscapes of Horomaka/Banks Peninsula, incorporating organic forms into her pieces.
