A self taught Wood Sculptor based in North Waikato, New Zealand, of Māori (Tūhoe) Scottish and Irish descent.

Shannon creates his art from native and exotic timbers from around the country. Where possible the timber is reclaimed / recycled. Each piece is handcrafted and as a result no two pieces are exactly the same. He takes inspiration from objects in daily life. Recreating them into larger pieces of art.
