Sarah has been dabbling in ceramics for around 20 years. She was inspired to start making pottery after a year living in Japan and visiting potter's studios there. Her return suitcase was full of pottery pieces - most of which have been since smashed by her children! 

Sarah hand-builds using pinching, coiling and slab-building methods. She has a love of patterns, and also rustic pottery, and is inspired by textiles and Japanese ceramics.

Sarah loves buying pottery and knows the joy of having something hand-made to use daily and cherish. Her pieces are never perfect, generally wobbly, rather fun, and are made with the hope of bringing comfort and joy to whoever they end up with.
