Kim Lawrence is a textile artist who lives in a pink house in sunny Motueka.

With degrees in design and art history Kim’s love of pop art, colour and texture are reflected in her bright, tactile artworks.

Her current obsession is recreating everyday items (especially food) with yarn, thread, needles, a tuftng gun and ‘unconventional’ embroidery techniques.

She loves to play with opposites and scale, making small items huge or smooth items fluffy.
