Birthed out of frustration with the corporate, increasingly profit driven, design industry by Bevan Whiting, (builder, industrial designer, furniture maker) Frontal Lobe has been creating pieces of furniture, lighting and other bespoke designs for over 10 years now.

Working out of the shared creative space that they founded a couple of years ago in Otautahi they have the skills and workshop to take ideas from inception to construction.

 Increasingly they are focused on design and low volume production of statement chairs and furniture with an emphasis on iconic, high quality, hand-made, relationally driven pieces. If you’re in Christchurch come and visit their Makerspace and Showroom!
