Michele Cope, Dunedin

Michele was born in Australia and moved to New Zealand in 1976, she now resides in Dunedin. 

She started her pottery journey in 1978 doing mostly wheel work. Working with clay has become her happy place it grounds her and gives her inner peace.

She recently returned to clay and exploring hand building with it’s infinite options as to what you can make. From practical bowls, elegant lady clocks to whimsical dogs in boats.  With her pottery Michele wants to give the gift of a smile and a memory that can last a life time and beyond.
