Ewan Parker works exclusively in Pounamu (New Zealand nephrite jade) and carves a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces. His work is beautiful and springs from the respect that he has for the stone. Many of his pieces are carved as if the pounamu has directed the shape and style, asking to be released from the stone.
