Mug Off competition entry from Jean Oliveira from Nelson.
Handbuilt stoneware mug, hand-painted with underglazes.
A playful composition of colour, pattern and line, built from irregular painted forms. Each section is individually drawn and layered by hand, creating a surface that feels spontaneous, tactile and full of movement.
