Oxidized Woven Checkerboard Earrings

The intentional oxidation adds a rich, dark patina, enhancing the contrast between the silver and gold for a bold and impactful visual effect. 

This earring series is an exploration of craftsmanship and material, where metal is transformed into a textile. Each piece is a testament to my years in textile design, combining the meticulousness of looms with the permanence of metalwork. 

The base of each pair is a delicate structure hand-woven with fine sheets of pure silver and 24ct gold, creating a collection that is at once geometric, organic, and deeply personal.

● Fine silver and 24ct gold, fused by hand. 
● Fine silver is softer than sterling; both metals can mark 
under pressure.
