Mug Off competition entry from Jennie Bate from Nelson.
Metamorphosis'.
This mug was made at home just weeks after giving birth to my second baby. We had monarch butterflies hatching on the kitchen table, and I felt a kinship between the monarchs and my current stage of life.
Hand pinched mug, sgraffito, hand painted with underglaze.
