Beautifully constructed Bracelet by Artist Janine Cairns-Michael.
This bracelet comprises 6 hollow elements which are linked together. They are textured on the front as well as on the back.
It measures approximately 195mm long, the middle element is 23mm wide 4 mm thick
Invercargill born, Janine has been creating with metal and stone since the early 1990s. Her love of nature, both above and below the water, has influenced the shapes and textures that characterize her jewellery. Many of the patterns are embossed onto the metal using a paper template, which is used only once and then discarded. The earthen elements have been gathered from lakes, riverbanks, and beaches from around southern New Zealand.
