Ceramic Earrings by Kāpiti artist Elisabeth Vullings
The earrings are carefully hand-cut from different types of New Zealand clay, making each pair completely unique. Different glazes and oxides are applied through dipping, brushing, and spraying. Each pair of earrings is individually named once they come out of the kiln and reveal their personalities.
The silver hooks and findings for the earrings and stainless steel backings for the brooches are locally sourced within New Zealand.
