NJW - Up and Out

Venture OUT of the city limits to explore 'Up and Out' a group exhibition of upcoming and mid career jewellery artists who have created individual collections for NJW representative of their key aesthetic and materials ranging from punk avant garde statement pieces to inspired by the natural world everyday wearables. using everything from stone, smokewood, ebony, precious metals, leather and gemstones.

Learning their art from different backgrounds and experiences – the collections promise to spark conversation and intrigue. Exploring connections and relationships between nature, humanity, social issues, cultures, sustainability and materials.

Confronting pieces tackling body image, controversial material use of human hair and poetic combinations of pounamu and gold....definitely worth the trip 'Up and Out' to Māpua!
