A familiar form to those raised on or around the Waimea estuary. The mud crab. Carved front and back from an incredibly rare Nelson Tasman grey jade, with small white spots of platinum throughout. Inlaid with a pink keshi pearl from China, and set on a sterling silver brooch pin.
