The calming, uplifting and gracious artwork of Jo Richards Hooker has come about from 
over 15 years of exploration and experimentation, leading to a diverse range of high quality, hand crafted unique artworks. 

Themes of movement such as birds and boats are threaded throughout her work as well as 
shapes inspired by organic forms particularly leaves, water, trees, and landscapes.

Occasionally objects of function also come to life in the studio such as 
crescents and keys. Jo enjoys the evolution and layering process of creating stylised paintings with an increase in patterns and colour in recent years.  Her sculptures are recognisable by her signature use of texture and smooth flowing lines, while her cast glass work merges both colour and form.
