Natalie Salisbury, Auckland
Originally from the UK, Natalie has been making jewellery for nearly 20 years. It was a natural path that led her to study 3D Arts and finally Jewellery & Silversmithing in 2004.
She creates wearable pieces of work to adorn and decorate the body - this has always been her focus; keeping it simple, delicate, and beautiful whilst exploring pattern, repetition and texture.
Her inspiration is born from many places; people and in technique, in words, in nature and in man-made items. She is also incredibly persuaded by texture and am galvanized by her surroundings. Aotearoa is a rich and inspiring land; lush and diverse, wide and open and surrounded by expanses of sea.
