Vikki Ambrose, originally from the UK, has called New Zealand home since 2000. She is a passionate artist and surface pattern designer who draws her inspiration from the natural world. Her artistic journey is deeply influenced by the beauty and tranquility of the sea, which she considers her happy place.
Artistic Style: Vikki's creative process involves hand-drawn designs that she completes using Adobe Illustrator, watercolor, or acrylic painting. Her works are a vibrant celebration of nature, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with modern digital tools.
Additional Roles: Besides her artistic pursuits, Vikki is also a whale medic with Project Jonah, and is committed to the rescue and protection of marine mammals. By day, she works as a scientist, bringing a unique blend of creativity and scientific insight to her art.
