This artwork depicts a mother humpback whale with her calf. The porthole invites the viewer into the magical abyss of the underwater world. The wooden porthole frame edge is Jane’s own unique design and is custom-made in Kaikoura, where she lives and these spectacular creatures frequent. The artwork is UV protected.

Jane’s artworks reflect her love of the natural environment. Her roots in Fox Glacier, beneath the spectacular Southern Alps, have deeply influenced her work with their towering peaks and blanketed rainforest foothills, leaving an enduring mark upon her art.
